Banquet Server (Part-Time)
The Banquet Server is responsible for assisting in the service, maintenance, and coordination of banquet rooms by providng the necessary set-up, food service, upkeep, break down, and cleaning functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-Set up tables with china, silverware, and other service equipment and breaks down assigned banquet rooms according to contract and managers instructions.
-Prepare work areas such as coffee stations, bread stations prior to function.
-Service of food and beverages according to standards.
-Handle guest requests or coordinate additional assistance from supervisor or manager.
-Communicate frequently with captains, supervisors and managers as to the progress of the days work.
-Maintain condition and cleanliness of banquet rooms, public areas, and storage areas.
-Maintain inventory of necessary supplies.
-Maintain Hilton's high standards of quality and service.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
-Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma liquor license.
-Ability to comprehend English in order to receive instructions from captains, managers and guests.
-Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
-Ability to lift 30 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
-No experience required. Prior serving and hospitality experience preferred.
