Executive Assistant
Marcus Hotels & Resorts seeks an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role will primarily support the Divisional President but have some administrative responsibility for others on the Hotel Executive team.
We seek applicants that possess a strong career history of working in an executive administrative assistant role, ideally supporting and reporting directly to more than one manager or executive team member. This role is based out of our downtown Milwaukee location.
This role will be responsible for:
Making travel arrangements
Composing correspondence
Tracking report generation by various departments, groups and entities
Coordinating and maintaining calendars
Tracking and reporting expenses
Managing Outlook mailboxes
Producing PowerPoint presentations
Communicating with other divisional and corporate senior offices
Communicating with external and internal customers with great care and proficiency
Tracking, prioritizing and responding to charitable and community requests
Office supply and resource management
Technology resource management and support
Review of internal, external websites and publications for information, articles and reports that might require the follow up of leadership
Coordination of activities with internal and external marketing and PR offices
Basic event planning and coordination
Various other projects and related tasks as assigned
The selected candidate will display great poise, polish and professionalism. Other job requirements include:
Prior successful experience as an assistant (multi-person office experience desired)
Proficient on all MS Office applications, (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Successful self-starter that takes initiative, and can work independently
A proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven project management and problem solving abilities
Detail-oriented and very organized; also willingness to help others stay organized
Flexibility and adaptability are important
A college degree is strongly preferred but not required
