Position Purpose:
Assist in all golf shop operations.
Essential Functions:
- Check in golfers.
- Ring in Group Outings
- Sell merchandise
- Monitor and fill out proper paperwork including membership paperwork.
- Answer phone enquiries.
- Take tee time reservations.
- Sell gift certificates on the golf course for Event Hole.
- Record cash taken in vs. dollar value given out in gift certificates.
- Maintain cleanliness of locker room, issue lockers for guests, and stock locker room supplies.
- Weekly inventory and locker room supplies list given to Head Professional.
- Assist with spike changes and shoe shining.
- Issue rental shoes.
- Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank
- Perform simple arithmetic functions.
- Assist with daily golf operations as directed by Professional Staff.
- Monitor golf course and weather conditions through GPS, and DTN Weather computer.
- Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank. Perform simple arithmetic functions using a calculator
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Director of Golf/Head Golf Professional
