Maintenance at Hilton Monona Terrace Downtown
We’re looking for a hard worker to join our maintenance team! Most importantly, we’re looking for someone that is willing to learn and help support their team members. It’s also very important that this person has flexible and open scheduling availability. This is a full time position (40 hours/ week) that works 5 days a week. This position will work on weekends. The schedule will be primarily 1st shift, but we will ask them to fill in some 2nd shift spots when needed.
These are some of the skills that we’d like to see in a
candidate:
- Some knowledge of plumbing
- Comfortable using technology
- Exposure to HVAC systems
Right now we’re a small but mighty crew of 3 technicians, an assistant manager, and a department manager.
Our team responds to maintenance issues in guest rooms that are usually occupied, so it’s important for this person to have a customer service mind set. We go above and beyond for our guests.
We also work on preventative maintenance projects to keep the hotel in good shape. We just finished a full renovation of the hotel, so we’re looking good and we want to keep it that way!
