Operations Supervisor at Hilton
The Hilton Madison Monona Terrace hotel is in search of a Hotel Department Supervisor to join our team!

This is an entry level Hotel Department Supervisor position that would rotate through all departments to learn the operations of the hotel. Rotating departments include: Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Banquets. Essential Functions:
Open availability including weekends.
Positive and open communication with guests, team members, managers, and corporate team.
Communicates frequently with guest contacts in order to ensure that their needs are being met.
Attends weekly meetings and keeps the teams updated on groups, events, and daily notes.
Supervises and trains staff in maintaining cleanliness in operating work areas, public areas, and storage areas.
Supervises and trains staff in maintaining inventory of necessary supplies.
Supervises and trains staff to meet and carry out Hilton's high standards of quality and service.
Assists department manager with scheduling and training.
Understands and has the ability to perform all required operating department duties.
Completes other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate undertakes projects on his or her own initiative, without needing to be told or encouraged to do so.
Ability to read and comprehend English in order to receive instructions from managers and guests and to communicate with members of all departments.
Commitment and ownership in responding quickly and accurately to guest requests.
Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
Ability to lift 35 lbs. with reasonable accommodation.
Knowledge of food preparation and customer service.
Prior customer service experience required.
Prior hospitality supervisory experience preferred.
