Grand Geneva Digital & Social Marketing Coordinator
The Digital & Social Marketing Coordinator will execute marketing activities for Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark as directed by the Director of Marketing. Marketing activities will include digital marketing campaigns, audit and update property websites, create and post content to social media channels, respond to reviews, coordinate public relations initiatives for on-property and analyzing, maintaining and reporting a strong online revenue based presence.

Position Description & Job Responsibilities:
Use Facebook Marketing tools (Lookalike audiences, slideshow, canvas, etc.) to create engaging posts that reach a targeted audience.
Work with the revenue team to build and plan out online campaigns.
Develop content (photos, videos, text) to be used in social revenue campaigns across multiple social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Develop an optimal offer posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
Social performance monitoring, reporting and tracking KPI’s.
Community moderation, including answering comments and questions, prompting further engagement, escalating issues to department heads, following up on issues, and maintaining community standards. Given our business and the nature of social media, some weekend and holiday work will be required.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, metrics, platforms and changes with SEO and Social Marketing.
Continually mine Google Analytics for nuggets of information and insights to improve website performance.
Audit and make updates to the property websites.
Measure web traffic and monitor SEO.
Manage organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on site impressions, click through rates, traffic, conversions, and other relevant data.
Develop website content working closely with business leaders to identify areas of opportunity.
Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.
Work with property departments to ensure digital presence is accurate, current and effective.
Monitor review websites including TripAdvisor, Expedia, Google, etc.
Work with PR agency and Director of Marketing to coordinate influencer and press visits
Coordinate marketing and public relations related to special events.
Perform other related duties as requested by the Director of Marketing.
Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
Thorough knowledge of social and digital marketing.
Proven experience as a Social or Marketing Coordinator (Previous Hospitality experience a plus).
Knowledge of local SEO, META data, canonical links, and knowledge graph a plus.
Proficient in web analytics and keyword tools.
Experience managing social media channels for business.
In-depth knowledge of Facebook and Instagram Marketing tools.
Ability to deliver creative content for social and email marketing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Google Analytics.
Basic understanding of HTML and Photoshop.
Experience taking photos and videos utilized for a business setting.
Willingness and eagerness to learn new skills and apply them.
Multitasking skills and the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of current digital marketing and social media marketing trends and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to write with a given audience in mind.
Excellent computer skills, including desk-top publishing and Graphic Design experience preferred (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
Outgoing and self-motivating individual with pleasant personality.
Excellent customer service skills.
