Marketing Manager - Corporate
Responsible for corporate level marketing initiatives, this position will oversee marketing efforts from the corporate level that promote efforts across portfolio. With the VP of Marketing and Corporate Director of Marketing providing marketing strategy based on geo region, YOY metrics, property features, Sales strategies, etc. This position is responsible for collaborating with the Corporate Director of Marketing and the VP of Marketing to refresh and enhance rewards platform, gift card program, and other corporate initiatives to implement, roll-out to portfolio, and continue to push boundaries with ways to engage repeat customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support development and execution of comprehensive marketing initiatives for corporate platforms.
Identify opportunities across corporate platforms to improve. Research and present solutions to Director of Corporate Marketing and VP of Marketing. Handle contract negotiations, implementation, and solution implementation and then adoption by properties.
Knowledge and passion in all areas of social media. Oversee, refresh, and develop social media plans for corporate accounts.
Be able to review and understand analytics from all areas of responsibility, and create cohesive plan of execution to present to Corporate Director of Marketing.
Research, analyze, and monitor various environmental factors, technological developments and changes in market trends to capitalize on opportunities.
Participate in marketing/revenue and sales meetings and events as needed.
Analyze metrics and provide insights to improve.
Provide monthly reporting to primary stakeholders and corporate offices.
Develop and maintain standards and processes pertaining to marketing efforts.
Supervise, support and mentor a team of 3.
A great desire to learn on the go to improve work flows, a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow through and complete projects to best-in-class standards.
Other tasks as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or PR related field is preferred.
Five year’s experience in the marketing field required; experience in a hospitality environment highly desired.
Proven success leading a team.
Proven project management success.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Docs
Experience with Social Media, CRM and PR
Experience with social media
Travel, up to 20% required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
