Position Purpose:
Set up and clear tables, stock all service stations and assist food server with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction
Essential Functions:
- Maintain quality and efficient turnover of tables through clearing, cleaning and resetting.
- Monitor, and maintain proactive response to guest needs by filling, refilling beverages, pre-bussing and responding to any guest needs discovered.
- Maintain organization of back of the house and work prep areas.
- Maintain quality and consistent communication with servers, hosts, supervisors, managers and any other member of the tam interacted with.
- Assist when logical or requested in maintaining overall cleanliness of both front and back of house operational areas.
- Obtains Supervisor or Manager approval prior to leaving any shift and informing that person with any changes or needs in scheduling.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Position Requirements:
- Entry Level Position
- High School Graduate or currently attending High School
- Previous Food / Beverage experience advantageous but not required
- Able to read, write and speak verbally in English
- Able to stand / walk for 8 hours or more
- Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be alert to the customer's needs.
- Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work any shift with flexibility.
- Able to lift at least 20 pounds.
- Able to perform several tasks simultaneously.
- Energetic, enthusiastic and open minded.
